PLASCON is a plastics manufacturing company based in New Zealand. The company was established in 1994 as a speciality supplier in the manufacture of ZORB® globes. PLASCON is the only official ZORB® globe manufacturer in the world and has heavy support from the leading company in the sport of globe riding, ZORB® .
We are aware of a number of companies, manufacturers and suppliers that claim to be 'official manufacturers' of ZORB® globes, calling them "Zorb balls", "Zorbing balls", "Zorbs", and "Hamster balls". You can rest assured that they are not. What they are producing are fake devices that often do not meet the safety requirements outlined in the "Code of Safe Operations for Plastic globes". PLASCON is the only official manufacturer of ZORB® globes.
PLASCON has worked very closely with ZORB® in the design, development and improvement of the ZORB® globes. Our Research & Development Team has ensured that we remain the market leader in the manufacturer of official ZORB® globes through constant improvement and the use of only the best materials.
PLASCON's specialty currently lies in the manufacture of ZORB® globes, although utilising our R&D team, we have designed and developed new products. This experience and our expertise in plastics manufacturing has enabled us to provide quality products in the area of plastic inflatables.
Our focus is not solely on ZORB® globe manufacture. PLASCON is looking to expand into other plastic inflatable product areas.
